A dark red wine looks terrific alongside all of the dishes of your holiday feast, but you may not have known that it is also a safer decision for your teeth than its light-colored cousin, the white, is. White wines are significantly more acidic than reds. They eat away at your tooth enamel much more, and making you more susceptible to cavities.
Red wine also has less sugar than other holiday drinks such as peppermint coffee liqueur, eggnog, and punch. No matter what you drink, always alternate between one sugary or alcoholic beverage and one glass of water. That way you will feel great and keep your teeth looking their best at the same time.
